The Cavaliere suite is elegance. Bright, enveloping and conformable environment with a private balcony offering a breathtaking view. For over 230 years, the suite has hosted the Commander of the Knights of Malta of the Commenda of Matera and Picciano.
Covering an area of 45 sqm, the suite features a magnificent brick vault. The vault, the bed, and the hydro-massage tub constitute the central elements of its originality and extraordinary location.
The lighting is reflected, variable in intensity, with the possibility to add a touch of colour.
The suite is ideal for a dream vacation for a couple, yet the sofa can be set up with two additional beds, accommodating a family of 4. The balcony is an ancient gem, exclusively for the suite's guests. In the morning, it offers a cool retreat due to its shaded position, optimal for rest and reading until 1 PM.
The spacious and elegant bathroom features an emotional shower with chromotherapy, soft terry towels, comfortable slippers and bathrobes for the comfort of our guests.

The Lovers' Balcony
The Lovers' Balcony, suspended between Heaven and the Sassi, is a corner of Paradise, shielded from the morning sun, the occasional terrace breeze, and prying eyes. The wonder of this space, illuminated by soft lights, can be enhanced by the sound of a guitar, a voice, the flutes of prosecco or champagne, the soft glow of candles, or simply by the hypnotic silence created by the visual suggestion of the ancient colours of the Sassi.

The flower garden is at guests' disposition. On July 1-2, Antica Torre di Iuso offers our guests to enjoy the traditional events of the Festa della Madonna della Bruna from an absolutely privileged position: the garden.
